Do Not Sell My Info
Last updated August 7, 2026
This is a placeholder draft for a pre-launch product and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Before publishing, this page requires legal review to confirm whether conference.contact's disclosure of business contact information to paying subscribers constitutes a "sale" or "share" of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA, and to confirm the opt-out mechanism below satisfies that determination.
Your right to opt out
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information.
conference.contact discloses business contact information — which may include your name, title, company, email, and phone number — to paying subscribers as part of our directory service. If you would rather your information not be disclosed to subscribers in this way, or if you want a business contact record about you corrected or removed from our directory entirely, you can submit a request below.
What we collect
- Identifiers — name, email address, IP address
- Account and subscription information
- Usage data — pages visited, browser type
- Business contact information compiled from publicly available sources into directory profiles
Submit a request
Fill out the form below with your name and the email address associated with your request. We will verify your identity before processing certain requests (such as correction or removal) to protect against fraudulent or unauthorized submissions. We'll respond within 45 days; if we need more time, we'll notify you and may extend this by up to an additional 45 days as permitted by law.
We also recognize opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a valid method of submitting a request to opt out of sale or sharing, where legally required.
No discrimination
We won't discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights — you won't be charged a different price or denied service for submitting a request.
Record retention
We retain records of privacy requests and our responses for the period required by applicable law, for compliance and audit purposes.
